Hike: Nine Corner LakeNestled in a tree surrounded
area of the Southern Adirondack
Mountains you will find the
charming hike to Nine Corner Lake.
You will reach this destination with
a brief 1/2 hour scenic walk.
As you walk the gently sloping trail
to the lake you will enjoy flora &
fauna, common to the area.
Many deer, fox, birds and salamanders
can be seen as you pass through
the beautiful habitat.
During this family orientated hike,
you will cross many streams with
some resting spots which are great
for picture taking.
Once at the lake, you will find
pristine water that allows for swimming,
picnics or relaxing.
There are areas for tenting for those
who wish to stay and enjoy the beauty,
falling asleep to the sounds of nature.
As majestic & peaceful as Nine Corner
Lake may be in the summer, the fall
foliage makes this site breathtaking
with its red, orange and gold colors.
To get there take Route 29A to the
intersection of Route 10 near Pine
Lake, where you will see the
designated parking area.
